4 Chambers of the Heart

Donna Irizarry

First Chamber:  Lakah – Garden of the Heart

  • Personal Garden
  • First Chamber

Lakah – The Garden Of the Heart = I want to have relationship with you.

Ex 6:7 Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

  • Our heart is designed to reflect our spirit and heaven to be a garden where God can walk with us today
  • Cultivating the garden of our heart is key in gaining intimacy with the Lord.
  • This is so that the presence of God could come out of the realm of Eden and walk into my garden.
  • “And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool [afternoon breeze} of the day” (Genesis 3:8 AMP).

I can have fellowship with Him in my garden.

  • Awake, 0 north wind,
  • And come, south wind [blow softly (upon my garden}.
  • Make my garden breathe out fragrance, [for the one in whom my soul delights},
  • Let its spices flow forth.
  • Let my beloved come into his garden and eat its choicest fruits” (Song of Solomon 4:16 AMP).

Our heart is our very core where soul and spirit are joined in the secret place of intimacy…

  • In simple humility, let our gardener, God, landscape you with the Word, making a salvation garden of your life. James 1:21 (MSG)
  • Your heart is God’s garden just waiting to flourish, so let’s join Him in cultivating it! Whether you are an experienced gardener or not, you have the opportunity to join Him as He gardens your heart.

When you go through things with the Lord, you can plant as a living record (a seed) of the testimony.

  • Plant a seed of each victory in your garden praying, “Father this is a seed that will grow into a plant, flower, tree, etc. inside my garden as a testimony to what we have done together here today.”
  • If you have never planted something, your heart will be a desert.
  • The garden is designed to be an emotional experience touching our senses.

~ Lakah is a place for relationship.

  • Ex 6:7 Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
  • As we engage the process our relationship with the Lord will grow deeper.

~ Lakah is a place of fellowship.

  • Genesis 3:8 tell us that the first man, Adam, walked with God “in the cool of the day.”
  • We don’t know how long this fellowship took place. But it must have been special.

~ Lakah is a place to share your heart. It’s a peaceful way to share your heart and to get perspective on the life that’s happening around you.

  • There is something very special about walking with someone you love in a garden.
  • For anyone who loves to garden, you know the peace that comes with planting, watering, and watching beautiful things grow and mature.

John 19:41 says, “Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid.”

  • It’s so fitting that our Lord Jesus would be laid to rest in a garden.

~ Lakah is a place of Rest.

  • Matthew 11:29 says, “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find REST for your souls.”
  • Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

~ Lakah is ‘A place of victory’

  • Our victorious King has just conquered sin and Satan at the cross.
  • He’s victorious over death by His resurrection.
  • Then Mary Magdalene comes to the tomb, finds the stone rolled away with two angels standing by, and she proceeds to mistake the risen Christ for the gardener.
  • But Jesus is alive, and death is conquered through Him!
  • 1 Corinthians 15:55 says, “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”

~ Lakah is ‘A place of delight’

  • Revelation 2:7 says, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’
  • The word “paradise” also means the garden of delight.

~ Lakah is a place to commune with Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

  • If any hears my voice I will come in and commune with him.

~ Lakah is a place of abiding.

  • John 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

~ Lakah Is place to “Just be”

  • ~ Lakah is a place of restoration.
  • I will restore what the locust have eaten.

Activation.

  • Open you heart.
  • Open the door of first love. (Jesus is knocking)
  • Sit in His presence. ‘Come up Here’.
  • Ask Jesus take you by the hand and walk with you into the garden of your heart.
  • Feel the freedom the joy of walking with Him.
  • Start to think of how you want your garden to be.
  • Let the creative thoughts of tending and cultivating your garden form in your mind.
  • You might want to plant a (seed) a testimony, an Encounter, a scripture in your garden.
  • You may want to take some water from the river of life and water your garden.
  • Speak life to the seed and see it grow.

2nd Chamber:  The Dance Floor

After study I found that the dance floor is not called the Segullah in Hebrew as some teach.

  • Segullah means ‘treasured possession’.
  • Strong’s 5459
  • segullah: possession, property
  • Original Word: סְגֻלָּה
  • Part of Speech: Noun Feminine
  • Transliteration: segullah
  • Phonetic Spelling: (seg-ool-law’)
  • Short Definition: possession

NAS Exhaustive Concordance

  • Word Origin
  • From an unused word
  • Definition
  • Possession, property
  • NASB Translation
  • possession (5), treasure (2), treasured possession (1).

valued property, peculiar treasure, which ׳י has chosen (בחר) and taken to himself; always of people of Israel, first Exodus 19:5 (E; ᵐ5 λαὸς περιούσιος = Titus 2:14; 1 Peter 2:9 λαὸς εἰς περιποίησιν = περιποίησις Ephesians 1:14 compare BrMP 102; MA 52, 235); then ׳עַם ס Deuteronomy 7:6; Deuteronomy 14:2; Deuteronomy 26:18; later ׳ס alone, Malachi 3:17; Psalm 135:4.

Ex 19:5 Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; 6 and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’

The 4 Chambers of the Heart is about engaging God for the positive conformity to the image of Jesus.

~ The Dance Floor is where we begin take on the image of sonship.

Everything to do with God and the river of God always stems out of intimacy. This is why God called to Adam in the garden, “Where are you?” (Gen 3:9 NKJV). It was not just because Adam had sinned… but it was the loss of relationship, friendship and intimacy.

~ The Dance Floor is where we engage with the eternal record.

Jeremiah 31:3-4

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:

“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;

Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt,

O virgin of Israel!

You shall again be adorned with your tambourines,

And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.

~ The Dance Floor is about the restoring all things back to our creation in the likeness and image of God.

~ The Dance Floor is engaging the name of God YHVH as revealed in His DNA

~ On The Dance Floor we engage the revelation of our identity encoded within the light of God’s DNA.

~The Dance Floor is about sonship.

Zephaniah 3:17

The Lord your God in your midst,

The Mighty One, will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.”

The 3rd Chamber of the Heart:  Micvah – Soaking Chamber / Pool

The Micvah / The soaking chamber soaking pool is one of the four Chambers of the heart.

  • The Micvah is a Jewish ritual bath. It is used as a place for the preparation for the betrothal.
  • Without engaging the preparation process there can be no consummation.
  • The Mikvah in Jewish customs is a ritual immersion in “living waters” in a pool.
  • In the western world it would be like our baptism.
  • The origin and meaning of baptism comes from the Torah itself; the meaning is “purification”.
  • When the bride-to-be was immersed in the Mikva, she was considered a new creation with former sins wiped away; no one could remind her of her past again.
  • For gentiles the baptism signified adoption and becoming an heir (Romans 8:17).
  • A Jewish marriage required a Ketubah and the Ketubah requires a Micvah.

When you engage the Micvah / Soaking Chamber / the pool:

  • Things are removed and changed.
  • You become free to live in physical and emotional health and wholeness.

The Micvah was used for a new start after an illness, trauma, loss, abuse or life threating illness.

  • Restores harmony and balance.

During the Micvah a blessing was said before or during. At times they would add their own prayers.

  • It is a place to prepare the soul and body to radiate glory
  • It realigns our frequencies to restore resonance, harmony and balance.

What is soaking?

  • Soaking to make or allow (something) to become thoroughly wet by immersing it in liquid.
  • to Immerse, steep, submerge, submerse, dip, sink, dunk, bathe, wet, rinse, douse, marinate, pickle
  • To baptize in water
  • To baptize in spirit and fire

Activation:

Find a quiet place to sit, stand or lay.

Start to engage the Lord. Engage His presence.

Father, I thank You for the opportunity to come into Your presence today.

Father by faith I set my desire to engage You in the Micvah / soaking Chamber / the pool.

Jesus I ask that You would take me by the hand and lead me into the Micvah / the soaking pool..

I desire to soak in You.

To soak in Your presence today.

Thank You Lord.

Jesus would restore harmony and balance in my being.

Thank You Lord.

Thank You Lord for Your goodness.

*You may want to write down some of the things that He has shown you so you can return to engage.

4th Chamber of the Heart:  The Bridal Chamber

Huppah (canopy)

brid’-cham-ber (numphon):

The room in which the marriage ceremonies were held (Matthew 9:15; Mark 2:19; Luke 5:34; compare Matthew 22:10).

See CHAMBER; MARRIAGE.

The last chamber of the heart is the bridal chamber.

The Bridal Chamber is where we are one with God.

This is where we are joined and become one with the presence of God.

“The person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him” (1 Corinthians 6:17 AMP).

Bridal Chamber.

· Is all about intimacy.

· Intimate spirit to spirit

· Covenant relationship.

· Is going back to the heart of God.

· Is unity with the presence of God

· Is where we become entwined with the record of His DNA.

· Is a Love relationship that is deeper in Him.

· Unity with God

· Entwined with the record of His DNA

In the Bridal Chamber we can experience.

· Emotions being restored.

· Heart being restored to Him

· Total union with Him.

God has promised to give you to Christ, as your only husband.

“I want to give you as his pure bride” (2 Corinthians 11:2 EXB).

WE need to build a bridal chamber inside our heart.

Holy Spirit overshadowed her (Luke 1 :35).

To overshadow means to brood, to cause vibration or frequency, to cause interruption in this world, to plant a record of a testimony inside her womb.

Activation

Father, I want to thank You that You have bought me as a bride.

You paid the price.

You have supplied all that is needed.

Father, to bring the fullness of Your Kingdom to bear on the earth.

Father, today i want to acknowledge that everything I do must stem out of a desire for intimacy with You.

Father, I ask that Jesus would take me by the hand and led me into the bridal chamber.

Father I ask that the atmosphere of the cloud of Your presence would rest over me.

Father, I thank You.
